The 6th edition of AsiaPCR/SingLIVE 2015 taking place in Singapore, brings together interventional cardiovascular specialists and cathlab staff from throughout the Asia Pacific region and internationally. AsiaPCR/SingLIVE is dedicated to sharing knowledge and experience to improve cardiovascular care for all.

All PCR Courses are designed to be effective educational tools. To achieve this, AsiaPCR/SingLIVE will uniquely combine the experience of the Asia Pacific region and PCR, with the goal of facilitating the exchange and expression of knowledge and experience for committed healthcare professionals locally and internationally.


Second Day – Friday, 23rd January

At the third session focused on a patient with an earlier inferior STEMI treated with DES to the RCA, and now planned for stage PCI to the proximal LAD – D1 bifurcation lesion. The operators, Dr. T. Santoso and Dr. K.W. Ho, employed the provisional stenting strategy to the proximal LAD, demonstrating the utility of real time OCT data to assist in decision-making on bifurcation lesions.

The session was rounded off with lectures by Dr A. Wong who touched on current issues in DES usage and benefits of abluminal biodegradable polymer coated stents, and Pr  W.Wijns on the latest results on the Ultimaster stent.
